About This Position
The Department of Internal Affairs is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to support our enterprise-wide function. The role involves delivering high-impact services across finance, people and culture, communications, technology and strategy, governance and risk, supporting informed decision-making and strong organisational performance.
What You'll Do
- Support the delivery of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in the management of employee records and databases.
- Coordinate training and development programs for staff.
- Support the coordination of events and activities related to employee engagement and wellbeing.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills. You should have experience in HR administration, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our employees. A relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field is desirable.
