The Opportunity
The Department of Internal Affairs is seeking a Relationship Lead for the System Pathways team in Wellington. The Survivor Experiences Service provides a safe, supportive and confidential space for Survivors of abuse in care to share their experiences as part of their healing journey. This role will also support Survivors to access and understand their care records, helping to fill gaps in personal histories and provide greater understanding of past experiences.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate safe spaces for Survivors to share their experiences
- Support Survivors in accessing and understanding their care records
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Survivor Experiences Service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting Survivors
