What This Role Involves

The Relationship Lead - Community Partnerships is a full-time position based in Wellington, New Zealand. The role involves fostering and maintaining strong relationships with community partners to support the Survivor Experiences Service provided by Te Tari Taiwhenua. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders
• Organizing and facilitating community engagement events and forums
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the Survivor Experiences Service aligns with broader government objectives
• Providing support and resources to Survivors of abuse in care, ensuring their needs are met through effective communication and collaboration

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

• Fostering a network of community partners to enhance the impact of the Survivor Experiences Service
• Developing and implementing strategies for community outreach and engagement
• Coordinating events, workshops, and other activities that promote awareness and support for Survivors
• Maintaining open lines of communication with all partners to ensure effective collaboration and mutual support
