Position Summary
A fixed-term position until 29 January 2027, this role will lead a significant recruitment programme for the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) as part of the Election 2026 Programme Team. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to shape the staffing structure that supports communities, government, and democracy in New Zealand.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a large-scale recruitment programme for critical roles within DIA.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract, assess, and select top talent for the 55th Executive Te Tari Taiwhenua.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of recruitment efforts with organisational goals.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all recruitment processes.
