The Opportunity
At Salas O'Brien, we are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Liaison to support our Defense Programs. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our defense projects by providing critical HR support and guidance. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in human resources management and experience working within federal or defense-related environments.
Core Duties
- Provide strategic HR support to project teams, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
- Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and issues promptly and effectively.
- Facilitate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding new hires.
- Administer performance management systems and ensure fair and consistent evaluations are conducted.
- Coordinate with HR departments to implement training programs and develop employee development plans.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably within a defense or federal agency setting.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, including labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Proven track record in managing employee relations and resolving conflicts.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and project management tools is a plus.
