What This Role Involves

The role of a Home Care Worker involves providing essential support to older members of our community. You will assist clients with daily living tasks, ensure their homes are safe and comfortable, and help them maintain their independence. Your work will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition needs
• Help with medication management and administration
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Support clients in managing household tasks
• Provide companionship to keep clients engaged and stimulated

Skills & Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping others
• Excellent communication skills
• Empathy and patience
• Basic first aid knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle (mileage allowance provided)
• A current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance are required
