Role Overview

Silverchain is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Windsor and surrounding suburbs. This role involves providing essential support to older members of the community, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Core Duties

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Prepare light meals and assist with nutrition-related needs
• Support with medication management and ensure safety in the home environment
• Provide companionship to promote mental well-being and social interaction
• Assist with household tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in home care or related field is preferred
• A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Certified in First Aid and CPR is advantageous but not mandatory

Working at Silverchain
