Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Transportation and Customer Service Coordinator to join our medical waste treatment facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role combines exceptional customer service with transportation coordination to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality service for our clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation schedules and routes for the collection of reusable medical waste containers from client sites
• Ensure all transport activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining open communication with clients, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
• Assist in the professional cleaning and sanitization process for returned containers
• Support the disposal of medical waste at our treatment facilities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and meet service level agreements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or customer service
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Affable personality with a focus on client satisfaction
• Familiarity with medical waste handling processes is advantageous but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; clean driving record preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed
