What This Role Involves
This is a highly physical and fast-paced role that plays a critical part in keeping healthcare facilities running safely and efficiently. As a Loader/Unloader, you will be responsible for loading and unloading medical waste containers, ensuring accurate and timely operations.
Responsibilities
- Lift and transport medical waste containers throughout the facility
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of medical waste in compliance with regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the day
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Able to work rotating shifts including second shift (evenings)
