Position Summary
As a Founding Product Designer at Salient, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our AI agents that automate loan servicing, compliance, collections, recovery, insurance claims, and disputes for banks, captives, and specialty lenders. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design intuitive user interfaces and experiences that meet regulatory requirements while driving business goals.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop user-centered products that comply with financial regulations
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various AI agents
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the product development lifecycle
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards and regulatory requirements
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Designer or similar role in the tech industry, preferably with a focus on financial services
- Demonstrated ability to design user-friendly interfaces for complex systems
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong understanding of UX principles and human-centered design methodologies
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
