The Opportunity
Dane Street is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Group Health Customer Service Representative. This role offers an exciting work environment, competitive compensation, and strong growth potential. Shifts are available for 10-hour shifts (Thursday - Sunday) or 12-hour shifts (Friday - Sunday).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Handling the receipt of new cases by intake, review, and verification of information and requests.
- Drafting cases by entering necessary information into AccessDS, our Dane Street system.
- Working with clients to ensure all pertinent information is available for processing claims.
- Sorting, organizing, and creating medical document listings as required by the client or specific handling guidelines.
- Oversight of cases through monitoring, processing, and tracking to meet deadlines.
- Assignment and scheduling of new cases to physicians based on location, reviewer availability, specific guidelines, jurisdictional requirements, and other client needs.
- Ensuring that assigned physicians have no conflict of interest with the case assignments.
- Frequent updates to clients regarding the progress of their cases.
- Communicating with clients when referral information is unclear or requires additional documentation.
