You contribute directly to a positive guest experience by ensuring all back-of-house spaces and equipment meet rigorous standards so culinary and service teams can deliver consistently. What You'll Do

• Wash, rinse, and polish dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans so they are ready for ongoing service needs
• Sanitize floors, walls, counters, and major equipment throughout food preparation and dishwashing zones according to hotel protocols
• Sort, remove, and properly dispose of waste and recyclables while keeping receptacles clean and functional
• Restock dishwashing chemicals, cleaning tools, and related supplies and maintain organized storage areas
• Assist kitchen colleagues by clearing soiled items, staging clean wares, and resetting stations after morning prep
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly flag any maintenance concerns to leadership

Requirements

• Physical capacity to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift items typical of kitchen stewarding duties
• Strong focus on cleanliness, personal hygiene, and adherence to food-safety practices
• Dependability for consistent morning availability and willingness to support the team during peak early hours
• Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Basic understanding of dishwashing machines and sanitation methods is helpful; prior steward or utility experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to task prioritization and guest-area standards
