Retail- PT Sales Manager

Michaels is hiring a Sales Manager at our Charlotte location on JW Clay Boulevard. We're seeking a motivated retail leader to drive sales, mentor team members, and deliver exceptional customer service in our store.

Position Summary

As a Sales Manager at Michaels in Charlotte, you'll take on a key leadership role supporting store operations and guiding our sales team. This position offers the opportunity to develop retail management skills while contributing directly to our store's success. You'll work with store leadership to achieve sales targets, mentor associates, and uphold our commitment to customer-first service.

Core Duties

• Lead and coach sales associates on the retail floor, providing performance feedback and development
• Drive sales performance and implement strategies to meet departmental and store objectives
• Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers, answering product questions, and resolving concerns
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product displays are attractive and well-organized
• Support inventory management, including stock rotation, loss prevention, and accurate record-keeping
• Execute store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security protocols
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment alongside other managers and team members
