Role Overview

We're seeking a Shift Leader to take command during assigned shifts at our Manvel location. In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, guide crew members, maintain our quality standards, and create a positive atmosphere where your team can thrive. Your leadership directly influences the success of each shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise crew members on assigned shifts with clear communication and constructive coaching
• Uphold food quality standards, preparation consistency, and presentation excellence
• Manage inventory levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste through efficient operations
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve any concerns with professionalism
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and security checks
• Train new team members on operational procedures and food safety requirements
• Maintain sanitation and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Report shift metrics and communicate staffing or operational issues to management

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience in food service, quick-service restaurant, or retail settings
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities in high-volume environments
• Effective team communication and problem-solving skills
• Food safety and health code knowledge a plus
• Flexibility with scheduling including mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Comfort with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
