Shift Operations Technician

SEC is hiring a Shift Operations Technician to join our team at our Austin, TX facility on 12100 Samsung Blvd. This is a full-time position in Austin where you'll play a critical role in our operational success, monitoring equipment, executing procedures, and ensuring quality output across every shift.

Position Summary

As a Shift Operations Technician with SEC in Austin, you'll be responsible for the hands-on management of operational systems and equipment. Working shifts at our 12100 Samsung Blvd location, you'll ensure all processes run smoothly, maintain detailed operational records, and respond quickly to any issues that arise. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be essential in this dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate equipment and systems according to established procedures
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned systems
• Record operational data, metrics, and observations accurately and completely
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate complex problems to maintenance teams
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies without exception
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors during shift handovers
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance
• Mechanical aptitude or prior experience with equipment operation is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
