Manager or AVP, Implementation – Transaction Banking (HK, Macau)

The Opportunity

OCBC is seeking an experienced implementation leader to drive the successful deployment and enhancement of transaction banking platforms serving corporate and institutional clients throughout Hong Kong and Macau. In this pivotal role, you will partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and clients to translate banking products and capabilities into robust operational solutions. Your strategic mindset and hands-on execution will directly influence how our clients bank more efficiently and securely across the region.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects for transaction banking solutions, including cash management, liquidity management, and payment systems
• Manage relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their requirements and ensuring successful solution deployment and adoption
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and business units to meet project timelines and objectives
• Oversee system configuration, testing, training, and go-live activities to ensure minimal disruption and maximum client satisfaction
• Identify process improvements and optimisation opportunities within implementation workflows
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation specialists and junior team members
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and performance tracking against defined KPIs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transaction banking implementation, project management, or client solutions (5+ years minimum)
• Strong knowledge of transaction banking products, payment systems, or cash management solutions
• Demonstrated success leading implementation projects from initiation through delivery
• Experience managing technical and operational teams in a client-facing environment
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple organisational levels
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate complex, ambiguous situations
• Familiarity with banking systems, ISO standards, or regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific regions is advantageous
