Audit Manager, Wholesale Banking Audit

The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced audit professional to drive audit excellence across our wholesale banking business. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams, influence risk management strategy, and contribute to the bank's commitment to operational integrity and regulatory resilience.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute comprehensive audit programmes covering wholesale banking operations, including credit, treasury, and investment activities
• Lead and manage audit teams through complex investigations and assessments
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify gaps or improvements
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations for senior management
• Support regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with banking standards and guidelines
• Collaborate with business units and finance functions to monitor remediation of audit findings

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) or relevant audit certification
• Minimum 5–7 years of audit experience, preferably in banking or financial services
• Demonstrated expertise in wholesale banking operations, risk assessment, or internal audit
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and communication skills
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance frameworks
