About the Role

As Transportation Supervisor at Gategroup, you'll manage day-to-day transportation operations and oversee our vehicle fleet and driver team. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation drivers and coordinate vehicle assignments to meet daily service demands
• Monitor route efficiency and fuel consumption, implementing improvements to reduce operational costs
• Ensure all transportation activities comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance, driver performance, and operational metrics
• Respond to scheduling conflicts and logistics challenges with practical, timely solutions
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules
• Train and mentor drivers on safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications

• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving credentials
• Proven supervisory or management experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation safety standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively, and resolve conflicts professionally
• Proficiency with dispatch software and basic computer applications
