Wabtec is hiring a Machine Operator I (Op. Maquina I) to join our manufacturing operations team in Monte Alto, São Paulo, Brazil. This is a full-time position where you'll play a critical role in our production processes.

Role Overview

As a Machine Operator I at Wabtec, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial machinery used in our manufacturing facility in Monte Alto, SP. Your Responsibilities

• Operate assigned machinery according to production schedules and technical specifications
• Monitor machine performance and product output to ensure quality standards are consistently met
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspection of assigned equipment
• Record production data and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and workplace procedures to maintain a secure manufacturing environment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate production flow
• Make minor adjustments to machine settings to optimize production efficiency

Who We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous machinery operation experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety guidelines
• Reliable, punctual, and results-oriented
• Fluency in Portuguese; English proficiency is an advantage
