Maintenance Technician – Holton Farm

Prestage is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for our Holton Farm facility in Cassatt, South Carolina. We're looking for a skilled, hands-on professional who takes pride in keeping equipment running and farm operations running smoothly.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Holton Farm, you'll be the backbone of our operational reliability. You'll diagnose equipment problems, perform repairs and preventive maintenance, and help us minimize downtime across our facility. This is a full-time position based on-site in Cassatt, where you'll work independently and as part of a team to keep everything in working order.

Core Duties

• Inspect, maintain, and repair farm equipment, facilities, and mechanical systems
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement cost-effective solutions
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts usage
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from farm operations staff
• Assist with facility improvements and equipment upgrades as needed

Who We're Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with equipment repair and maintenance
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliability and commitment to safety in all work practices
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel on-site within the facility
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade school training or relevant certification a plus
