Public Relations – Account Coordinator

Role Overview

As an Account Coordinator in our Public Relations team, you will serve as a key support resource for account management and client service operations. This role bridges communications planning with day-to-day project execution, giving you direct exposure to client relationships, campaign strategy, and the full lifecycle of PR initiatives. You'll work collaboratively with account executives and senior strategists to deliver high-impact public relations solutions for our diverse client portfolio.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Support account executives in managing client relationships and coordinating project timelines
• Assist in developing media lists, pitch materials, and press releases for client campaigns
• Maintain detailed account records, track deliverables, and coordinate communication across team members
• Research industry trends, journalists, and media outlets relevant to client objectives
• Manage administrative functions including scheduling, invoicing, and project coordination
• Support media outreach efforts and help monitor coverage results and campaign performance
• Contribute to campaign planning meetings and contribute ideas to client strategy discussions

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with media databases and CRM tools
• Genuine interest in public relations strategy and media relations
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Basic understanding of media landscape and news cycles
