Training and Implementation Consultant (Accounting)

Pinewood.AI is seeking a Training and Implementation Consultant (Accounting) to join our team and support clients across the United States in this full-time, remote role. You'll combine technical expertise with strong communication skills to ensure successful adoption of our solutions within accounting departments and finance teams.

About This Position

As a Training and Implementation Consultant specializing in accounting systems, you'll be the bridge between our products and our clients' teams. Your role centers on designing and delivering implementation strategies that minimize disruption, accelerate time-to-value, and drive user adoption. You'll work directly with accounting professionals, finance managers, and IT stakeholders to translate their requirements into effective go-live plans and training programs. Your success is measured by clients achieving their business outcomes and users gaining confidence in new workflows from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute implementation roadmaps tailored to each client's accounting infrastructure, timeline, and team structure
• Lead hands-on training sessions for accounting and finance staff, from system fundamentals to advanced reporting and compliance workflows
• Conduct business process reviews to identify optimization opportunities and align client workflows with best practices
• Document client configurations, data migration requirements, and custom workflows to ensure smooth knowledge transfer
• Troubleshoot post-launch issues, coordinate with technical teams, and provide ongoing support during the critical adoption phase
• Gather feedback from client teams and provide recommendations for system enhancements or configuration adjustments

Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in accounting systems implementation, ERP deployment, or financial software training
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, general ledger operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize multiple client engagements and manage timelines
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach to resolving implementation challenges
• Willingness to learn new systems quickly and adapt training methods to diverse learning styles
