The Opportunity

Your mandatory internship period will immerse you in real-world supply chain management within Continental's Research division. You'll work alongside experienced supply chain professionals who will guide you through critical processes—from demand planning and procurement to inventory management and supplier relationships. This hands-on experience will deepen your understanding of how supply chain decisions impact global manufacturing and help you apply your academic knowledge to tangible business challenges.

Your Responsibilities

• Support supply chain planning, procurement strategy, and logistics operations
• Assist with data analysis and reporting on supply chain performance indicators
• Participate in projects focused on supplier management and inventory optimisation
• Learn Continental's supply chain systems, tools, and international best practices
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation efforts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve supply chain challenges

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline
• This internship fulfils your mandatory practical placement requirement
• Genuine interest in supply chain operations, procurement, and global logistics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and/or German
• Well-organised, reliable, and genuinely motivated to learn in a professional setting
