Senior Commercial Planning Manager

We're seeking a Senior Commercial Planning Manager for New Look in Whitechapel, East London. This is a strategic, customer-focused role at the heart of our business transformation — where commercial excellence meets operational impact.

The Opportunity

New Look is embedding a customer-led 5-Year Plan across the organisation, and we need a commercially astute strategic planner to own its translation, communication and operationalisation. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, ensuring our Customer Model is understood and activated throughout the business. This role combines strategic thinking with commercial acumen to drive real, measurable business outcomes.

Core Duties

• Translate customer-focused strategic plans into clear, actionable frameworks across departments
• Develop and communicate commercial planning roadmaps aligned to the organisation's 5-Year Plan
• Build stakeholder alignment, working cross-functionally to operationalise strategic initiatives
• Monitor commercial performance against strategic milestones and business objectives
• Identify commercial opportunities and risks inherent to strategic plans, surfacing insight to senior leaders
• Facilitate planning cycles and maintain governance of strategic commitments

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial planning or strategic planning roles
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate strategy into operational reality
• Excellent communication skills: able to articulate complex strategies simply and persuasively
• Experience working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders and multiple departments
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess commercial impact and business drivers
• Organised, detail-oriented approach to planning and project management
