Software Supporter (1st/2nd Level) – Alpha Online (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential automotive software company seeking a Software Supporter to serve as the primary contact for dealership clients using complex process management systems. This is a 1st Level support role with progression to 2nd Level responsibilities.

In this position, you will:

• Serve as first point of contact for customers via phone and email, managing administrative oversight of all active support cases
• Configure software platforms to meet specific customer requirements, including feature activation and permission structures
• Analyze software dependencies and potential error sources proactively before they impact customers
• Conduct thorough manual testing of each software release and submit tickets to ensure only error-free software reaches clients
• Investigate root causes of interface errors with partner systems, communicate directly with interface partners and internal development teams, and contribute to resolution

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Minimum three years of experience in direct customer contact or technical support
• Technical understanding of complex software processes and system interfaces
• Analytical, structured working style with ability to recognize dependencies before they become problems
• Genuine enjoyment of direct customer interaction and finding tailored solutions for each client
• German at C2 level; English at minimum B2 level in both written and spoken communication

Advantageous but not required:

• Experience in the automotive sector
• IT or software training, such as Fachinformatiker:in or equivalent qualification

This role is based in Hamburg with flexible home office options available. This is a permanent, full-time position.
