Customer Success Consultant – Retail Media

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential retail media technology organization in München, and our talent team is seeking a Customer Success Consultant to drive advertising revenue growth for a portfolio of key clients.

In this role, you will:

• Lead clients through the complete journey from strategy development to implementation, defining their retail media vision and roadmap, designing organizational structures, and co-building commercial action plans with measurable KPIs
• Deliver strategic recommendations during business reviews, presenting to client teams and C-level executives with market insights and performance case studies
• Design and implement KPI frameworks to monitor advertising network performance and identify continuous growth opportunities
• Support clients in day-to-day platform optimization, including placements and campaign configuration, to maximize advertising revenues and platform adoption
• Lead customized workshops and training sessions to ensure thorough onboarding and sustained platform expertise
• Contribute to process improvement and industrialization of customer success operations, ensuring scalability as the client base expands
• Leverage AI tools to enhance client value delivery, automate reporting, accelerate strategic recommendations, and improve overall client experience
• Serve as the internal voice of publishers, providing actionable insights to sales, customer success, and product teams
• Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics in retail media, translating intelligence into strategic recommendations
• Participate in meetings with adtech partners to strengthen positioning within the adtech value chain

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Business or Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in retail media, eCommerce, or consulting with strong exposure to digital advertising and marketplace ecosystems
• Solid knowledge of eCommerce, marketplaces, and online advertising with understanding of adtech value chains
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
• Strong client-facing abilities and project management experience
• Business-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, comfortable in dynamic environments
• Experience thriving in scaling business environments and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Fluency in English required; German and French are strong assets given key market presence
• Self-motivated and energetic with proven ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders to achieve commercial goals
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to travel internationally
