Country Manager, Canada

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Country Manager, Canada. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving regional growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and executing strategic go-to-market initiatives across Canada. Our client is an established player in the exposure management and vulnerability assessment space, serving enterprise and government clients globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a regional sales team of seasoned sales professionals and direct reports
• Develop and execute annual regional plans that achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets
• Recruit, develop, and retain top sales management talent who will build tiered sales teams
• Manage pipeline development and deliver accurate, predictable forecasts for the region
• Split time evenly between team management and direct customer-facing engagements
• Collaborate with channel partners (new and established) to generate business opportunities
• Lead negotiations for large, complex deals with enterprise clients
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering, Channel, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to optimize regional performance
• Maintain direct sales responsibility for key accounts and achieve new product revenue goals
• Develop strategic recommendations for growth opportunities and target accounts within the territory

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of Director-level management experience leading direct reports in fast-paced, competitive sales environments
• Minimum 6 years selling security products such as Vulnerability Management, Continuous Monitoring, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, Compliance, Encryption, or Access Management
• 8+ years in quota-carrying sales roles with demonstrated success
• Strong knowledge of selling multi-product software solutions
• Extensive experience negotiating large, complex deals with challenging terms and pricing considerations
• Proven track record working with channel and technology partners to build cooperative sales campaigns
• History of coordinating multi-functional internal teams (Sales Engineers, Inside Reps, Field Marketing, Professional Services, Channel Management) to meet and exceed quotas
• Deep domain expertise in the Canada region, including knowledge of accounts, decision makers, and channel partners
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
