Senior Product Designer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing subscription infrastructure platform that processes billions in annual transaction volume and serves developers worldwide. Our client is a remote-first technology company looking for a Senior Product Designer to own complex product problems from discovery through launch.

This role requires someone who thrives on turning technically complex workflows into elegant, intuitive experiences for technical users. You'll work directly with product and engineering teams, talk to customers regularly, and maintain a high bar for both interaction design and visual craft.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for complex product features, from initial discovery through production release and iteration
• Work closely with product managers and engineers to frame ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, and shape product direction
• Conduct customer research through direct conversations and use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
• Design clear, intuitive workflows with careful attention to information architecture, edge cases, error states, and interaction patterns
• Create high-fidelity designs that demonstrate strong visual craft in typography, hierarchy, spacing, and composition
• Prototype and iterate quickly, staying engaged through implementation to ensure quality execution
• Contribute to design systems, reusable patterns, and team practices that elevate the broader product experience
• Communicate effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment across multiple time zones

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record solving complex product problems in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or similarly technical environments
• Strong ability to frame ambiguous problems, make sound trade-offs, and help shape what gets built and why
• Excellent skills in designing clear workflows with attention to information architecture, states, and interactions
• High visual craft standards with deep care for hierarchy, typography, spacing, and polish
• Experience staying close to customers and using evidence-based research to drive design decisions
• Collaborative approach with product and engineering teams, involving partners early and reducing scope intelligently
• Clear communication skills suited for remote, asynchronous collaboration
• Understanding of technical constraints sufficient to make realistic design decisions
• Comfort using prototypes, code, or modern AI tools to learn faster and validate ideas
• Genuine excitement about helping developers build better businesses
