Senior Treasury Manager (m/w/d)

Our client operates in the consumer goods sector with significant international expansion underway, and they require a senior treasury professional to manage liquidity, cashflow, and financing structures during this critical scaling phase.

This is a unique opportunity to shape treasury operations for a high-growth business navigating complex working capital requirements, international payment flows, and strategic financing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own liquidity planning and cashflow management, developing rolling forecasts across short, medium, and long-term horizons
• Manage working capital optimization in collaboration with accounting, controlling, sourcing, and operations teams to improve payment terms, inventory levels, and capital efficiency
• Lead relationships with banks, financing partners, and payment service providers while evolving existing financing structures
• Analyze financial risks and implement professional management frameworks for currency, interest rate, and liquidity exposures
• Develop treasury processes, systems, and reporting to create maximum transparency around cash position and financing needs
• Support executive leadership and finance management with financing decisions, investment analysis, and strategic scenario planning

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, cash management, or working capital management
• Strong understanding of liquidity planning, cashflow mechanics, financing structures, and financial risk management
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, consumer goods, or fast-growing company environments is highly valuable
• Confident with Excel and treasury, ERP, or banking systems
• Proven track record working with banks and financing partners
• Analytical, forward-thinking, and precise approach with ability to communicate complex financial topics clearly
• German language proficiency required for this Hamburg-based role
