Werkstudent Accounting (w/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer health organization seeking a working student to support their accounting team in Hamburg. You'll gain practical experience in financial operations within a growing business environment.

• Assist with pre-accounting and coding of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Help maintain creditor and debtor master data records
• Support invoice processing workflows through digital approval tools
• Contribute to basic evaluations and reporting tasks in Excel
• Assist with digitization and filing of accounting documents
• Provide support for month-end closing preparation activities including document allocation and data reconciliation

What We're Looking For

Our client is seeking a student currently enrolled in business administration, economics, or a comparable program with genuine interest in accounting. This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

• Active student in a relevant business or economics degree program
• Interest in accounting and financial processes
• Previous practical exposure to bookkeeping through internship or training is advantageous but not required
• Structured, conscientious working style with attention to detail
• Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Very good German language skills and good English proficiency
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and approaches
