Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a leading strategy and technology consultancy focused on mobility and energy transformation. This Berlin-based organization works with enterprise clients across automotive, transport, energy, and public infrastructure sectors. They combine strategic advisory with hands-on technical delivery through their engineering subsidiary.

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work at the client site to implement production AI systems that transform core business processes. You'll build agentic solutions, deploy them into enterprise workflows, and help organizations transition to AI-native operations. This role sits within their growing Technology Practice and offers the opportunity to establish deployment patterns for a new team.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy agentic AI systems embedded directly into client value chains to drive efficiency and revenue growth
• Deliver production-ready technical artifacts including agents, MCP servers, and agent skills for live workflows
• Develop reusable build and deployment patterns; contribute learnings to internal knowledge base and open-source community
• Maintain current expertise in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks
• Build strong relationships with client technical teams; identify AI deployment opportunities throughout engagement lifecycle
• Expand internal build capabilities for agentic systems and deploy solutions for the consultancy's own operations
• Travel 1–3 days per week to client sites across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

What We're Looking For

• University degree in AI, mathematics, physics, software engineering, data science, or related technical field
• Optional but valued: 2–3 years of engineering or technical deployment experience in customer-facing environments
• Demonstrable build portfolio (GitHub profile, shipped systems, or product examples required)
• Hands-on experience with analytical, generative, and agentic AI stack (agent frameworks, prompt engineering, skill development)
• Process-design mindset with understanding of how model behavior impacts enterprise outcomes
• Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
• Comfort moving quickly and taking calculated risks
• Strong presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• German and English proficiency at C1+ level (CEFR)
• Willingness to travel regularly within the DACH region

Compensation & Benefits

Our client offers €61,000 gross annual (all-in) for recent graduates, or €82,000 gross annual (all-in) for candidates with 2+ years of relevant full-time experience.
