Responsibilities

• Develop and redesign backend systems with focus on stability, security, and performance
• Participate in conception and implementation of scalable web applications
• Execute comprehensive testing and maintenance procedures to ensure system reliability
• Optimize database architecture and query performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical solutions

What We're Looking For

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong object-oriented programming expertise in PHP (Symfony and Zend Framework experience highly valued)
• Proven experience developing backends for large web applications
• Solid knowledge of MySQL databases
• Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML
• Deep understanding of MVC architecture and Git version control
• Database architecture design and query optimization skills
• Fluency in German or English
• Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities

Nice to Have:

• Front-end development experience
• System administration knowledge (Linux, Nginx)
• Docker containerization experience
• CI/CD pipeline development
• Amazon Web Services familiarity
• Image processing toolbox experience
