About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential nutraceutical manufacturing organization in Hamburg that is seeking a People Development Specialist (Referent Personalentwicklung) to join their growing team. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) working with a certified production facility that serves international business partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor sick leave notifications and absence tracking in HRworks personnel software, including eAU retrieval in DATEV
• Prepare employment references and certificates
• Independently administer the company pension scheme in-house
• Execute and coordinate preboarding processes and recruitment activities
• Serve as liaison between departments and stakeholders
• Advise leadership on people development matters and design talent development measures
• Implement and continuously improve competency development instruments
• Deliver internal workshops in the People & Culture domain
• Collaborate closely with the Head of HR and executive management

What We're Looking For

• Completed university degree with focus on HR, People Development, or comparable qualification
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in HR within Germany
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in recruiting, people development, adult education, or organizational development
• Solid understanding of German labor law
• Excellent communication and consulting skills across all organizational levels
• Very good German and good English proficiency, written and spoken
• Demonstrated responsibility and discretion when handling confidential data
• Strong communicator with a confident, service-oriented demeanor
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style
• High level of engagement, accountability, and enthusiasm for shaping processes
