Director, Product Growth

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential vertical SaaS client in search of a Director, Product Growth. Our client has built a robust platform serving small and medium-sized businesses with integrated tools for sales, operations, and customer management. They've achieved strong product-market fit and are now scaling their growth motion across both self-serve and sales-assisted channels.

This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and go-to-market strategy. You'll own the activation and expansion paths that drive user engagement, surface product signals that unlock sales conversations, and build a friction-less self-serve experience. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll lead a cross-functional Growth team including Engineering, Design, Data Science, and a Principal PM.

Location: Remote within Canada or USA

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate the hybrid motion with Sales by identifying product signals that indicate readiness for sales conversations and building playbooks that convert those signals into pipeline for both new acquisition and expansion
• Drive activation and expansion by owning the in-product experience that gets new users to value quickly and designing expansion loops that drive deeper adoption and multi-product retention
• Grow self-serve revenue across transactional and subscription products, with focus on in-product upgrade paths
• Lead the Growth team and build a fast experimentation culture while owning the growth metrics that matter to leadership
• Design and run experiments end to end, setting success criteria and shipping without waiting for perfect conditions
• Work cross-functionally to align product, sales, and marketing on growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 8 to 12+ years of product growth experience in B2B SaaS; vertical SaaS is a strong plus
• Proven experience building a hybrid product-led and sales-led motion, with real understanding of how to make these work together in practice
• Strong activation and expansion instincts with ability to design user journeys that drive measurable improvement in time-to-value and long-term retention
• Experience working across both transactional and subscription revenue models
• Fluent in growth metrics including activation rate, adoption, expansion revenue, and NRR, with ability to run your own analysis
• Experience with tools like Amplitude, HubSpot, and Snowflake or comparable data warehouse
• Experience building or scaling an AI-powered product is a meaningful differentiator
• Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams in matrixed environments
• Clear communicator at every level, from executive to analyst
• Based in the US or Canada

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $250,000 - $300,000 USD annually, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
