About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential recruiting organization in the DACH region. They are seeking a Team Leader for Key Account Management to join their operations in Düsseldorf. This is a full-time leadership role combining strategic account management with team development responsibilities.

As their Key Account Management Team Leader, you will drive customer retention, revenue growth, and team performance while working closely with senior leadership to scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of customer advisors and closers, fostering performance, motivation, and professional development
• Own the retention and growth strategy for existing client accounts, maximizing customer lifetime value
• Identify and execute upsell opportunities, increase contract renewals, and generate referrals
• Collaborate with executive leadership to build scalable sales processes and operational structures
• Maintain personal responsibility for selected key accounts, ensuring excellent results and long-term partnerships
• Drive revenue increases through strategic account planning and execution

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally with mid-market local companies
• Proven track record closing five-figure monthly volumes
• Experience leading sales teams (coaching, management, goal-setting) – either initial or extensive experience welcomed
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent working style with high quality standards
• Strong communication abilities and passion for actively shaping customer relationships
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on operational execution
