Senior Clinical Research Associate

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential clinical research organization seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to join their team on a remote basis within France. This role supports a dedicated functional service provider partnership in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.

In this position, you will monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites, ensuring that trials are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all applicable regulations and standards. You will coordinate all necessary activities required to set up and monitor studies, including identifying investigators, helping prepare regulatory submissions, and conducting pre-study and initiation visits.

As a Senior CRA, you will handle appropriately sized clinical trials and support clinical study teams with trials that are larger in scope. You will have the opportunity to train and mentor junior staff members, interact directly with clients, initiate payments, and participate in proposal activities, including development and client presentations.

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• Holder of CRA certificate
• Minimum 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment
• Experience monitoring clinical trials across a variety of therapeutic areas
• Availability for domestic travel including overnight stays, which may constitute up to approximately 50-60% travel commitment (international travel may be required)
• Fluency in English and French is required
• Additional language(s) will be considered an asset

Preferred qualifications:

• Graduate or postgraduate degree with a concentration in a scientific or healthcare discipline
• Study start-up activities experience
• Understanding of financial management

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and will be competitive with market rates for senior-level clinical research associates in France.
