About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential professional services firm seeking a qualified Tax Advisor and/or Attorney specializing in restructuring and business succession planning. This role is based in Regensburg, Germany, with potential flexibility for placement in Augsburg or Munich depending on your personal preferences.

Our client operates as part of a national network of over 30 firms across Germany, offering you the opportunity to work on sophisticated mandates typically found in large-scale practices while maintaining a collegial, personalized work environment. You will serve as a cross-location specialist advisor, handling assignments generated throughout the network with a focus on southern Germany.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement corporate transformations, restructurings, and succession planning strategies for business clients
• Provide specialized tax and legal advisory services for business succession matters
• Draft and oversee execution of required contracts and legal documentation
• Prepare expert opinions and formal statements on complex restructuring matters
• Collaborate closely with mandate-responsible partners to develop tailored solutions
• Guide clients through sensitive transition phases as a trusted advisor
• Handle regional and cross-regional assignments generated by the network

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed Steuerberater (tax advisor) examination and/or second state law examination (zweites juristisches Staatsexamen)
• Ideally several years of professional experience as a tax advisor and/or attorney in strategic advisory
• Strong expertise in tax law, business economics, and legal matters with focus on transformation tax law and inheritance tax law
• Committed, entrepreneurial, and independent working style
• DATEV and MS Office proficiency preferred
• Strong communication skills and genuine interest in client interaction
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
• German language fluency required for this role
