About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential legal information services organization in their search for a Global Head of Analytical Editorial Operations. This is a strategic leadership role accountable for setting the global strategy and operating model for a high-value secondary content portfolio that serves legal professionals worldwide.

Our client is a global provider deploying AI and advanced technologies to transform legal workflows. They employ thousands of technologists and data scientists developing ethical generative AI solutions for the legal market.

This role leads a 150-person global editorial operations organization and is accountable for ensuring analytical content—expert analysis, commentary, and guidance—remains current, trusted, and increasingly valuable in AI-enabled customer workflows. You will drive the adoption of GenAI-enabled content capabilities while maintaining rigorous editorial quality and customer trust.

Location is flexible: this role may be based anywhere in Asia-Pacific, North America, or the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set the global strategy, operating roadmap, and priorities for analytical editorial operations across a multi-region organization spanning Asia, North America, Pacific, and the UK
• Lead the global adoption and scaling of GenAI-enabled content capabilities, including agentic platforms and AI-augmented content updating workflows
• Transform content workflows to improve currency, structure, discoverability, and operational efficiency while maintaining editorial quality and customer trust
• Partner with product, technology, data science, and commercial teams to improve creation, delivery, and activation of global analytical products
• Prioritize content and workflow investments that improve quality, relevance, completeness, and trustworthiness of AI-generated answer sets
• Own author and expert relationships for the content portfolio, including recruitment and retention strategies
• Establish global standards, governance, performance measures, and human-in-the-loop controls for GenAI-enabled editorial workflows
• Use customer feedback, usage data, and operational metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement
• Lead global planning, resource allocation, and financial management including budget management and investment priorities
• Build a high-performing global workforce through talent development, reskilling, recruitment, and change leadership

What We're Looking For

• At least 10 years' experience leading a global operation at scale, with accountability for delivery, quality, and financial performance
• Demonstrated experience leading AI, GenAI, automation, or technology-enabled business transformation initiatives from strategy through scaled operational adoption
• Experience partnering with product, technology, data science, commercial, and operational teams to deliver customer-facing AI or digital-product outcomes
• Experience applying data, customer feedback, and quality measures to improve content, search, retrieval, or AI-generated answer experiences
• Strong process, engineering, and systems orientation with experience operating global delivery models and managing vendor partnerships at scale
• Legal-content, secondary-content, publishing, or information-services experience strongly preferred
• BA/BS plus JD, MBA, other advanced degree or equivalent experience required
• Commercial fluency to make the case for content investments in revenue, retention, and product performance terms
• Experience supporting and interacting with diverse and high-level stakeholders
• Ability to build empirical cases linking content quality and coverage to product and customer outcomes
• Excellent organization, project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups
• Advanced problem-solving experience leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating resources to diagnose complex issues
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for senior and executive audiences
• Ability to influence others and motivate teams toward short- and long-term goals
