Confidential Employer is recruiting a full-time Driver for our Gauteng, South Africa operations. We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in long-distance driving, fleet management, and safe vehicle operation across South Africa and the wider Southern African region.

Position Summary

This full-time Driver position is central to our transport and logistics operations based in Gauteng. You will operate vehicles across multiple terrains and distances, managing routes across South Africa and neighbouring regions, maintaining vehicle safety standards, and ensuring reliable service delivery to clients and passengers.

Responsibilities

• Execute long-distance driving assignments across South Africa and Namibia, adhering to all safety and regulatory requirements
• Manage vehicle maintenance inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Transport clients, cargo, or both with professionalism and punctuality
• Operate vehicles for rental agency clients, dealership transfers, and dedicated logistics work as assigned
• Provide guest transportation and vehicle positioning services where required
• Maintain accurate logbooks and comply with all road traffic regulations
• Respond professionally to client feedback and communicate reliably throughout assigned routes

What You Bring

• Valid South African Code 8 driver's licence (essential requirement)
• Current, valid passport enabling cross-border travel
• Proven long-distance driving experience within South Africa and Namibia
• Professional experience with rental car agencies, including airport operations
• Background in vehicle dealership transport or courier services
• Reliable, courteous demeanour and unwavering commitment to safety standards
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on extended routes
