Mechatronics Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential robotics organization in Munich seeking a Mechatronics Test Engineer. In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for test benches used with complex mechatronic systems
• Coordinate the design, construction, and commissioning of test benches for mechatronic components and industrial manipulators
• Evaluate test results and provide feedback as an integrated member of a multidisciplinary development team
• Implement data acquisition and analysis at both component and system levels
• Develop and document test and calibration procedures following state-of-the-art regulatory frameworks
• Review, propose, and verify component and system requirements

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Industry experience in testing, verification, and validation within mechatronics product development or test automation
• Degree or equivalent in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related technical field
• Sound knowledge in the analysis of mechatronic systems
• Proficiency with C++ and Python for data analysis and test bench automation
• Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or automation system design, construction, or commissioning
• System-oriented thinking and structured working approach
• Strong written and spoken English skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with mechatronic systems, test bench automation, or data acquisition and analysis
• Experience with Unix (e.g., Bash), field bus systems (e.g., EtherCAT), and embedded controllers
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for mechatronic systems and industrial automation
• Additional language skills such as German or Chinese are advantageous
