Account Manager – Asset Impact

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential climate data analytics firm seeking an Account Manager to join their Paris office. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability and financial services, supporting the transition to a net-zero economy through strategic client relationships.

As Account Manager, you will own and develop existing institutional client accounts end-to-end, from onboarding through relationship management, product delivery, and business development. You'll work directly with some of the world's largest financial institutions, helping them measure climate risks and develop decarbonization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own the account management framework and execution across the business
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing institutional clients, particularly major global banks
• Proactively understand client priorities, use cases, and challenges while identifying key internal sponsors
• Meet net revenue retention targets by identifying and closing new business opportunities within existing accounts
• Continuously monitor and improve account management strategy, processes, and tooling
• Manage product delivery to clients in coordination with the Product team
• Convey client feedback to inform product improvements and roadmap development
• Collaborate with business development teams to identify cross-selling opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Five or more years of experience in a client-facing role such as consulting, sales, or client relationship management
• Proven experience building and managing relationships with institutional clients, particularly in the banking sector
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, economics, sustainable finance); Master's degree preferred
• Previous experience in climate, sustainability, and/or the financial industry strongly preferred
• Comfortable using AI tools to manage and track account management processes and workflows
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with mandatory fluency in English
• Fluency in French or other European languages is a strong plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, France
• Strong track record in account management and/or sales with financial institutions
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at structuring internal processes
• Customer-first mindset with demonstrated experience in strategic account planning and execution
