About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential Belgian organization in the energy sector that is seeking a SAP Functional Analyst with WM / EWM expertise. Our client operates a digital business solutions environment supporting core operations through reliable, evolving ERP applications. Responsibilities
- Analyse change requests and assess functional impact on existing SAP logistics systems
- Estimate workload and implementation effort for maintenance activities and project initiatives
- Compare solution scenarios and recommend optimal approaches for business requirements
- Configure SAP WM/EWM solutions and implement functional adaptations
- Support technical analysis activities, including ABAP debugging when required
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications ensuring maintainability
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation, process models, and reference materials
- Contribute to test planning, coordinate testing activities, monitor quality, and support deployment phases
- Follow up on incidents and problems, driving timely resolution
- Participate in initiatives related to inventory management, warehousing processes, and data migration projects
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience as a functional analyst in SAP environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP WM (Warehouse Management) and SAP configuration
- Familiarity with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
- Understanding of inventory management and warehousing processes
- Ability to work with ABAP debugging when needed
- Experience with process modelling tools
- Knowledge of data migration techniques is an asset
- Experience with SAP MM, SAP PM, or Stock Room Management in S/4HANA is a plus
- Background in the energy sector is advantageous
- Fluency in Dutch or French, with good command of the other language
- Based in or willing to work in Belgium
