iSchools Inc. seeks a visionary Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science to join our faculty in Mysore, Karnataka. As an Assistant Professor in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, you will balance three core dimensions of academic excellence: developing and delivering innovative courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, conducting rigorous research that contributes to the field, and serving your academic community through committees and collaborative initiatives. This tenure-eligible position invites faculty who are passionate about teaching, driven by intellectual curiosity, and eager to build a research program that impacts both academia and industry.

Core Duties

• Design and teach courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and related specializations
• Supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in research projects
• Conduct original research with potential for peer-reviewed publication and external funding
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic program enhancement
• Participate in departmental committees and institutional service
• Engage with the broader academic community through conferences, collaborations, and knowledge dissemination

What We're Looking For

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a closely related discipline
• Strong record of research contributions demonstrated through publications in recognized venues
• Teaching experience or clear commitment to pedagogical excellence in higher education
• Expertise in one or more areas such as machine learning, deep learning, data mining, natural language processing, computer vision, or statistical analysis
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
