Senior Solution Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization seeking a Senior Solution Engineer for their London office. In this role, you will partner closely with the sales team and own critical components of the sales cycle.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to support EMEA-based prospects and customers
• Help prospects understand platform capabilities and advantages over legacy technologies
• Conduct infrastructural and architectural discovery sessions with prospect teams
• Assess project requirements and validate them against the platform's technical capabilities
• Identify and mitigate technical and business risks during the sales process
• Design and deliver product demonstrations tailored to specific business problems
• Support technical evaluations and proof-of-concept implementations
• Communicate customer needs and product feedback to internal stakeholders including product, marketing, and sales teams
• Ensure smooth handoffs to implementation teams for newly-signed customers
• Travel up to 50% of the time across EMEA markets

What We're Looking For

Our client needs a technical professional who can bridge business requirements with platform capabilities while working in a fast-paced, multi-opportunity environment.

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in English; additional European languages strongly preferred
• 3-5 years as a Sales Engineer, Solution Engineer, Solution Architect, or Solution Consultant for a cloud-based PaaS or SaaS company; OR 5-10 years as a developer working on digital experience delivery with marketing technology platforms (CMS, Commerce, Personalization)
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both marketing-focused and technical audiences
• Proven hands-on experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript frameworks, static site generators, REST APIs, CDNs, and CI/CD pipelines
• High emotional intelligence to navigate meetings with multiple stakeholders of varying influence and engagement levels
• Natural curiosity about how technology drives business transformation and value
• Comfort working across multiple opportunities and teams simultaneously

Nice to have:

• Experience with content management platforms or marketing technology solutions
• Familiarity with solution selling methodologies and value-based selling techniques
• Understanding of composable architectures and modern platform concepts
