About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential tax advisory firm in Koblenz that specializes in serving corporate clients, particularly in the real estate sector. Our talent team is seeking a qualified German Tax Advisor (Steuerberater*in) to lead their operational tax advisory team. This is a full-time or part-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) with genuine leadership responsibility and long-term partnership potential.

This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership, overseeing a team of five professionals handling accounting, payroll, and annual financial statements for mid-sized companies and real estate clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational tax advisory function, including review and approval of financial accounting, annual financial statements, and tax returns
• Manage and develop a team of five colleagues across accounting, payroll, and year-end closing functions
• Ensure quality standards, deadline compliance, and timely delivery across all tax declaration activities
• Handle correspondence with tax authorities, support tax audits, objections, and applications
• Maintain and grow your own portfolio of corporate clients, particularly in the real estate sector
• Contribute to the ongoing development of internal standards and workflows

What We're Looking For

• Active appointment as Steuerberater (German Tax Advisor certification required)
• Proven experience in preparing and reviewing annual financial statements and tax returns
• Leadership experience is welcome but not mandatory—what matters most is your enthusiasm for developing colleagues professionally
• Strong proficiency with DATEV software
• Interest in serving corporate clients in the real estate industry
• Clear, reliable communication skills with both team members and clients
• Fluency in German (required for client interaction and regulatory compliance)

Pay

The client offers €6,000 to €8,000 monthly depending on experience.
