Solution Architect – Client Solutions (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

Our client, a confidential wealth management technology organization, is seeking a Solution Architect to bridge the gap between their customers and engineering teams. In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary interface between clients and development teams, spending significant time in direct customer dialogue
• Listen carefully to understand client challenges and translate business requirements into concrete technical specifications for developers
• Design solution architectures that align with both client needs and the existing system landscape, drawing on your deep technical background
• Think in systems: understand internal architecture, client technical environments, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies to bring these worlds together effectively
• Engage with developers on a technical level regarding APIs and integrations, discussing solution approaches and their implications beyond just requirement gathering
• Guide projects from initial requirements through to implementation, ensuring strong technical concepts become working solutions
• Provide clarity across customer, project, and engineering stakeholders: What is the real problem? What do we need technically? What makes sense to implement?
• Bring structure to complex topics, coordinate diverse stakeholders, and maintain oversight across multiple concurrent projects

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, Product Management, Software Development, or a similar role at the intersection of business and technology
• Strong technical understanding of software architectures, data flows, interfaces, and API design; development background is a clear advantage but not mandatory
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to genuinely understand client problems and translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with engineering teams: you can discuss technical topics at eye level, communicate complex matters clearly, and develop pragmatic solutions together with developers
• Interest in wealth management, financial technology, and SaaS, plus willingness to dive deep into domain-specific and technical contexts
• Experience with agile methodologies, strong organizational skills, and the ability to bring together different stakeholders and guide solutions through to structured implementation
• Native-level German proficiency required
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• Based in or willing to relocate to Frankfurt am Main
