Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud infrastructure organization seeking an experienced legal professional for their Karlsruhe location. In this role, you will combine sophisticated legal analysis with strategic transformation initiatives, leveraging Legal Tech and AI solutions across national and international operations.

• Independently manage all legal matters arising within an international IT environment, with primary focus on commercial law
• Provide legal support for projects, product development, and product launches while implementing diverse legal requirements
• Deliver strategic counsel on all legal aspects associated with AI deployment and AI governance
• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts in both German and English
• Identify processes suitable for automation within the legal function using Legal Tech and AI, and brief and implement such solutions

What We're Looking For

This senior position requires a qualified lawyer with both Staatsexamina and at least 5 years of relevant experience in an international environment.

• Generalist mindset with structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented thinking and action
• Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to anchor commercially viable legal solutions across all organizational levels
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills at executive level, with experience moderating conflicting objectives
• High degree of initiative, willingness to take responsibility, and assertiveness
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Ideally, experience mentoring less experienced team members
