(Senior) Consultant (m/w/d) für IT Transformation

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Senior IT Transformation Consultant to drive meaningful change across client engagements in the DACH region.

In this role, you will:

• Plan, lead, and execute IT-focused transformation projects including AI strategy development, governance frameworks, compliance initiatives, process harmonization, and change management
• Analyze processes, project landscapes, organizational structures, and tool ecosystems with a focus on efficiency, impact, and stakeholder acceptance
• Develop transformation strategies, define action areas, and build project portfolios in close collaboration with client teams
• Design and implement organizational change initiatives including communication concepts and change management measures
• Facilitate workshops, conduct assessments, and deliver executive-level presentations to senior management
• Work closely with client teams while mentoring and developing junior consultants on your engagements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships based on trust and partnership
• Contribute to pre-sales activities and proposal development

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in consulting or operationally leading IT-related transformation projects
• Practical expertise in at least one of the following areas: IT project management (traditional or hybrid methodologies), AI implementation and advisory (functional or strategic, including governance and operating models), change management or agile transformation, or process analysis and tool evaluation
• Strong knowledge of at least one project methodology such as PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum, or SAFe
• A pragmatic approach to methods and frameworks—you focus on results and impact rather than rigid adherence to buzzwords
• Excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and empathy when working with diverse stakeholders
• Self-directed work style with willingness to travel within the DACH region
• Fluent German and solid English language skills
