Senior Product Engineer – iOS/Swift

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a Senior Product Engineer specializing in iOS/Swift development. Our client is building the leading finance workspace for small and medium businesses across Europe, serving hundreds of thousands of customers with a mobile-first approach to business banking.

This is a rare opportunity to work on a product that directly impacts the daily financial operations of European SMEs. You'll be part of a mobile engineering community within a 500-person product engineering department, working in focused squads with full ownership of product scope.

Location: Berlin, Germany (candidates must be living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical architectural and UI features for a Swift-based iOS application used by hundreds of thousands of business customers
• Work within a fully modular codebase (35+ independent modules) using MVP & Clean Architecture, with new screens built in SwiftUI and MVVM
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver unified solutions
• Maintain exceptional code quality through continuous refactoring, comprehensive unit testing, and peer code reviews
• Tackle real-time synchronization challenges and drive new technical initiatives
• Contribute to a modern CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Firebase Test Lab, and Fastlane
• Leverage AI tools integrated into the development workflow to raise engineering standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer with strong Swift expertise and deep understanding of the iOS ecosystem, SDK, and development lifecycle
• Demonstrated commitment to best practices including unit testing (XCTests, FBSnapshots), Clean Code principles, and SOLID architecture
• Experience with SwiftUI, async/await patterns, and the Coordinator pattern for scalable navigation
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to engineering challenges
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Growth mindset with curiosity about new technologies and passion for contributing to products serving large user bases
• Familiarity with modern build optimization tools and modular architecture approaches is a plus
