CPS Engagement Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential federal technology client seeking a CPS Engagement Manager to oversee professional services delivery for U.S. government agencies. This remote role requires working directly with federal stakeholders and executive leadership throughout the customer journey, from adoption through expansion and renewal. You'll serve as a trusted advisor managing the implementation of data governance solutions while ensuring compliance with government regulations and security standards.

Location: Remote, United States (U.S. citizenship and residency required due to federal contract requirements)

Security Clearance: Active Secret, TS, or TS-SCI clearance required

Responsibilities

Client Management and Communication:

• Manage services delivery across a portfolio of diverse federal agency accounts
• Oversee installation, configuration, and implementation of data governance platforms
• Build relationships with senior-level customer stakeholders, partners, and service integrators
• Lead federal customer engagements ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and GovCloud requirements
• Ensure clients optimize product benefits and accelerate time to value
• Provide federal agencies with tailored data governance strategies that drive measurable mission outcomes

Planning and Project Management:

• Develop project plans based on customer initiatives and use cases
• Conduct requirements gathering and suggest additional functionality
• Provide documented status updates to customer and internal stakeholders throughout engagements
• Manage escalations, risk, issue management, and change management on a weekly basis
• Identify and drive value and measurable outcomes as part of implementation projects

Advocacy and Business Alignment:

• Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders including Sales, Support, Engineering, and Product teams
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment with customer priorities
• Coach project team members during service delivery
• Assist with onboarding of new team members
• Work with leadership to continuously improve engagement and delivery processes

Adoption and Expansion:

• Identify opportunities to expand platform footprint by aligning capabilities with customer initiatives
• Contribute to growth of services and licensing business through account expansion
• Help customers understand how additional features may increase value

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. citizenship with residency on U.S. soil (required for federal contracts)
• Active security clearance: Secret, TS, or TS-SCI
• 5+ years managing services projects in support of U.S. federal agencies
• Knowledge in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Quality
• Understanding of at least two to three of the following: data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, business rules management
• Understanding of leading PaaS providers, Data Lakes, Databases, and Integration platforms commonly adopted by federal agencies
• Experience with AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure and platform
• Understanding of APIs via Java, Python, or similar scripting languages for custom software implementations
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data integration

Pay

This role includes a competitive base salary and commission-based compensation. Our client also provides bonus potential, equity for eligible roles, monthly stipends, and retirement plans. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the screening process.
